It has some sort of a post coming out of the bottom that I have to assume was originally used to insert into something or other. Tektites are formed by the intense heat of a meteor strike. ) We soaked in vinegar, scrubbed, any other ideas to clear a better detail HI I recently came across this item.
The only distinguishing mark that I could see is the word CHESTNUT going around the small hole in the center on the side shown in photo 1. It has some of a tint to it like it can be copper or bronze.. The woman statue is about 8 feet tall and turtle statue is about 3 feet.
